Filed under: What The Bloody Hell??
Yesterday, someone told me about a motel in Nevada called the Clown Motel. It was a casual mention, yet one SO PROFOUND it gave me nightmares last night. The. Clown. Motel. What is this place? A motel FOR clowns? A motel run BY clowns? A motel whose decor is in celebration OF clowns? WHAT IS IT?
They don’t have a website, but they do have a Facebook page, which somehow makes this even creepier to me. There are only three photos on this page, each one more sinister than the last. In one shot (shown below) the sign states the rooms are clean and pets are ‘ok’. Let’s translate that, shall we?

- Clean rooms actually means: ‘Yes, the room are clean, and by clean we mean devoid of any dead bodies and the evidence of foul play that caused those bodies to be dead’.
- Pets ok actually means: Pets make GOOD EATIN’!
According to the comments on the page, people have stayed here for the low low rate of $39.95 and, to my surprise, survived. It is also reportedly haunted. Great. Clowns and ghosts.
You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.
Nope.
